Yes, we offer a ramp on the main level which accesses our auditorium and primary worship facilities. There is an access to the lower level by way of our gymnasium entrance as well. We have ADA restrooms, and wheelchair and handicapped seating.
We are not so much worried about the external and just ask that you wear what you believe would best demonstrate a modest and respectable appearance.
As you enter our building you will find yourself in a large foyer. Here you will also find Ushers with name badges that can assist you. If you are coming for our Sunday School hour our Ushers will be very willing to show you and anyone with you where your respective classes are located. If you are coming for any of our services you will find that the auditorium is easy to find and we encourage you to make yourself comfortable wherever you find an empty spot.
We love families who visit our church, and have a clean, well maintained and secure location for you to place your child into a well-staffed nursery. Rest assured that our workers will contact you if anything is needed or feel free to inspect the facilities for yourself to verify that you are comfortable leaving your child in our care.
On Sunday mornings we offer what we call “Children’s Church.” This is designed for children ages 3 through Kindergarten.
We offer different adult classes based upon different stages of life. Sometimes we offer elective classes for all the adults to choose from that are based upon topics. For the children we offer divided classes based upon age from nursery all the way up through High School.
We have a very active youth group that meets on Sundays for Sunday school, on Wednesday nights for a time of fun activities and Bible study, and then there are different activities that offer an assortment of fun events and service opportunities. Check out the calendar on the youth page for more information.
Our services follow a fairly normal pattern with a greeting from our pastor or one of our church leaders, followed by a number of songs that we encourage our attendees to sing along with as a congregation. We use projectors to project the words of our songs and most of our songs come from hymnals or other modern hymns.
On Sunday mornings you will usually hear from our church’s choir and we also will collect an offering that is for our regular attenders and members.
Visitors are in no way expected to give unless they choose to do so. Our pastor or a guest speaker will then preach a message that comes straight from the Bible, God’s Word. Following the message is a closing song to help summarize the service and encourage you the listener to apply what you have heard to your life. A typical Sunday morning service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
We seek to observe Communion, or as some call it, The Lord’s Supper, every first Sunday of the month. Every person who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by faith in what Jesus did on the cross and knows that their sins have been forgiven is welcome to participate with us as we observe this wonderful reminder of God’s love for us.
