In our fast-paced, demanding society, getting connected and staying connected to God, our church, our friends, and our family requires a deliberate effort and a well-designed plan to keep our priorities in the proper order.

We have established a few connection points as an effort to help your growth as a Christian. We hope that you will be able to find as many answers as you have questions here on our site. However, if there are still areas that you would like to find answers to, please feel free to contact us. There are also several different places to see and hear more about UGBC. Ways To Connect

Are YOU connected?

Personal Devotion–Private Prayer and the Word

Daily devotion is imperative for a productive and living connection to God. There’s no minimum or maximum time limit set; this is simply your personal time alone with God and His Word. The Apostle Paul’s instruction to the Thessalonians was “Pray without ceasing.” Daily devotion–connection to God–gives God an opportunity to speak into your life and direct your steps.

Union Grove Baptist Church is a place of consistent prayer. On Wednesday nights, we do a Bible study and prayer time. Many people come to prayer to draw closer to God, pray for special needs, and consecrate thier lives in a deeper and more meaningful way. If you have a prayer request you can submit the request online or let us know.

Spend Time In The Word

The Psalmist David wrote, “Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee.” This connect point is two fold:

(1) Daily Bible reading should be a part of your daily devotion plan. A wide variety of reading plans are available; whatever plan you choose, the important matter is connecting to the Word daily.
(2) In addition, we encourage people to attend Sunday School, a Ladies or Men’s Bible Study and Dicipleship Training class regularly. Classes for children, youth and adults are geared to impart the Word of God in ways that help us understand its application to daily life. They help establish a firm foundation by providing a forum for teaching and discussion of Biblical principles. Counteracting society’s influence on our thinking requires more than attendance at and participation in worship services; it requires knowing and studying the Word, and involvement in a Bible based classroom setting is one way to allow the Word to take root in our hearts.

Community Outreach and Involvement

We believe in serving our community by showing God’s love in simple, practical ways. We believe that God’s love and grace are free. This is why we do not take any donations or offerings when we serve in our community. We want to serve our community the way Jesus has served us, freely with love. We want Jesus’ love to outflow into others and into the community of Union Grove, Wisconsin. So we host community events for children, teens and families, offer a food pantry, help out with various community efforts, and more. Thus, outreaches are an integral part of our church. We reach out to others and serve our community in various ways. We have a wide variety of activities that we do in our community to express God’s love.

Get the whole family involved in our adult ministries, student ministries and children’s ministries

Volunteer your time, talents and treasures to serve our church and community. One of the best ways to get to know people is by volunteering together! If you’re interested in helping out in one of our ministry areas and meeting some people from church at the same time, take a look at these options. You will also find many opportunties to sign up for upcoming events or needs here and on (contact us for the password for any specific meal plans we have set up recently).
